It features a 4 oz Lavender Sage Calming Candle from Pour & Penchant as well as a 2 oz jar of our Sleep Balm and a 1.85 oz Sleep Salt Soak. The candle is not only high quality (details below) but is also the perfect size to put on the side of the bathtub or on a nightstand as part of a bedtime ritual. The gift set is packaged in a burlap drawstring bag with a wooden spoon and tag explaining the contents. Inside the bag is our trifold brochure with more information about magnesium as well as a note about the natural ingredients we use. CANDLE DETAILS: Pour & Penchant uses coconut and apricot wax in their candles because it is eco-friendly and derived from sustainable sources. These waxes are also vegan and gluten free. Wicks are cotton core with no lead or zinc. Their custom scents are blends of fragrance and essential oils and are phthalate free. Pour & Penchant no longer uses soy because most soy wax and soy wax blends are NOT from sustainable sources. As our global population increases the demand for soy and soy by-products is increasing exponentially. Soy is now used in food production, clothing, faux-leather goods, and energy (gasoline). This increase in soy utilization has forced the agriculture industry to leverage more land and limited resources like water for soy production making soy less sustainable. Soy is also underperforming in two key areas: first, coco-apricot wax offers the best fragrance diffusion or "hot throw"; second, coco-apricot wax offers refined burn quality, which means less soot. It promotes good burning characteristics, like minimum smoking and sooting when wicks are properly maintained.
