Brown's Berry Patch
Located on the "Seaway Trail," Brown's Berry Patch, also known as Orchard Dale Fruit Co., is an eight-generation family farm. In 1804, Elijah Brown purchased the farm land from the Holland Land Co. but he died while bringing his family and possessions down the Lake Ontario Shoreline to the Oak Orchard River from Sodus, NY. His wife Bathshua and their five sons and seven daughters were left to clear the forest and start the farm.In addition to apples, the Browns currently grow strawberries, blueberries and cherries.
