Erdle Farm
Erdle Farm's story is one rooted in tradition and grown through dedication. Nearly 40 years ago, the farm took its first steps with a handful of small but storied Concord vineyards — vines already more than a century old, carrying with them a history that predates the farm itself. Those ancient rows set the tone for everything that followed: a deep respect for the land, a commitment to quality, and a patience that only true farmers understand.
Nestled in the Silver Creek area, Erdle Farm has long embraced sustainable agricultural practices, recognizing that the health of the land today determines the harvest of tomorrow. Every decision on the farm is made with an eye toward long-term stewardship — not just for the farm family, but for the community and region it calls home.
Over the decades, the farm has grown thoughtfully and intentionally. What began as a few Concord rows has blossomed into a diverse operation, with additional vineyard blocks and a rich variety of berry crops that now define the Erdle experience for so many loyal members.
Concord grapes remain the heart and soul of Erdle Farm, still commanding the greatest share of the farm's acreage. But talk to any longtime CSA member, and they'll tell you: Erdle's berries are something special. Plump, sun-ripened blueberries. Sweet, fragrant strawberries that arrive like a herald of summer. Delicate raspberries. Robust, jewel-toned blackberries. And crisp, refreshing seedless table grapes that have become a warm-weather staple for families across the region.
Each of these crops reflects the same care and philosophy that has guided Erdle Farm from the very beginning — that good farming, done right and done sustainably, produces food worth savoring.
