Fenton's Produce
Fenton's Produce is a story nearly a century in the making. Originally established in 1934 in Batavia, NY by Paul's great uncles, the farm passed through generations before Paul and his wife took ownership in 1990 — carrying forward a tradition they were determined to honor and grow.
A pivotal turning point came in 1984 when the farm transitioned from field crops to vegetables, redefining what Fenton's would become. That same year, the family planted their roots at the East Aurora Farmer's Market, where they've shown up every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. — May through Thanksgiving — for over 40 years, building not just a customer base, but a community of lifelong friends.
The Fentons have never been content to stand still. They've modernized their operation over the years, adding high tunnels to extend the growing season, fencing areas heavily traveled by deer, and constantly seeking out new and exciting produce varieties — the kinds of things that make you stop at a farmers market table and ask, "What is that?"
Today, Fenton's Produce reaches families across Western New York through grocery stores, farmers markets, and local farm stands. Their motto says it best: We farm. You eat.
