Pedersen Farms
Rick and Laura Pedersen started farming in 1983 in New York's Finger Lakes Region. Today they have 600 acres of certified organic land which produces both organic vegetables and grain and another 900 acres of conventional vegetables and grain.Their crop mix changes each year depending on markets and customers’ needs with the most recent additions of organic sweet corn and organic kale. The Pedersens planted the first commercial hops to be grown in New York since Prohibition in 1999.
